It is definitely C. Taxonomy is the science of classification. Every organism is given a genus and species name.

C it basically uses binomial nomenclature proposed by carolus linnaeus ..... for e.g --- Homo sapien (both of them underlined----where homo stands for generic name and sapien for specific name)
