I am latin american. Our people own their farms in latin america. Do foreign companies have the right to explore for minerals or oil on our properties in latin america even if the own does not give permision?? They seem to pay the goverment money to allow them to explore. Even without permission from property owner.

Archeologists also dig on private property owned by indigenous peoples without permission.

I studied some PLM(petroleum land management) in college and what you must know is that surface and mineral rights are totally separate. The government might be the owner of the mineral rights in your case. However, they do have a responsibility to restore the land to how it was before they drill and should make as little interference as possible.

i don't be attentive to what state your in,yet in Texas i'm informed which you will possibly could desire to have a minimum of 20 acres till now they are in a position to drill an oil nicely on your materials. This because of scale of the drilling area, the reserve pit, and all. Drilling on much less might rather lots"devour"the exterior materials, making it too severe a harm criminal duty for the oil corporation, because it must be seen a complete loss.

They should not have that right.
However I understand that even in the USA, people can explore for oil on your private property.
