I suppose people live the lives they want to live.
They hear the things they want to hear.
They live the lives they want to live, rather than what somebody else may tell them.
Other people just want to be told how to live.

It is just a philosophical point, rather than a question.
Answers are often biased.
I got nothing better to do and like to spark conversation and read opinions.

So, Entertain me.

Thanks,

I trust you won't mind my taking your point forward to some philosophical height.

So, yes, people just do what they want. But what is it that they want? Why is it different for different people? Because people are different. Why are they different? Because they have had varying life with different kind of events and interactions.

But there is one commonality in what people want.... they normally want whatever they do not have or can not have quite easily or naturally. One who has a lot of money wants love and respect. One who has love and respect wants knowledge or intelligence.

Somehow what we have and what we want and work for seem to balance each other..... just wonder whether our desires and preferences are naturally geared to bring about a balance... just as the governing principle of this whole universe... everything is duly balanced out at all times.... since changes or movements keep happening with every passage of time, the grand principle is a 'dynamic balance'...... perhaps our life too is governed by this grand principle!!!

The outlook of your point is that of a positive person. Since you won't ask the question, I will.
Suppose you were a negative type, how would put your point into words? Let's try it.
I suppose people don't live the life they don't want to live. Surprisingly enough even if they said, I don't want to live this
type of life, they would wind up living it.
Or to speed things up a little, let's just cut to the last statement. I just don't want people to tell me how to live, the end result is that they would be told. Do you know why?

When you are dealing with things that you want expressing it positively promotes it. When you are dealing with things you don't want and are not able to transform the desire positively, what you don't want is attracted. My aim is to volonteer my time when possible to help others see the difference. You will be entertained if you suddenly find yourself accepting the challenge. I certainly have been. You are welcome! Enjoy!
