Think of each day as having to take a test.
Eat the right foods before it, like tuna which
gives you peak energy, and not pastas that
flat-line your mood. Those are a fine dinner.
Repeat often daily:
I am a CAN DO Person
Nothing can break my Peace of Mind
To DO what ONLY I CAN DO
To Reach my Goal Today and Tomorrow!
I must work with music for best performance
in a task or on the job to elevate my spirit.
Perhaps, try doodling ten minutes after two
hours of work application like a reward or
what it is that entertains you for ten minutes.
In one week, you'll have retrained yourself.
Earlier to bed, enough rest is also, a key
factor to restoring your morning energy.
You are not as difficult as a Troll.

Hey whenever you get up in the morning, stand in front of the mirror and say that you are the best and that you will first of all finish all important tasks and then enjoy to the fullest.
Immediately after breakfast start working on the most important task of the day and only after it's completion get on to any other work.

You are always motivated, you don't need to become motivated. It's just that right now you've put more value on short-term rewards, like being comfortable and entertained, than on your long-term goals, whatever they may be. You have associated more pain than pleasure with your goals. You can consciously reverse this.
As for short-term goals, I have ADD as well. If you need to take a break from one task and come back to it later, don't be too hard on yourself.

set up rewards for your accomplishments. Big rewards that will encourage you to finish something. Set up obstacles which keep you from distracting from your task. Good luck.

motivation in my understanding usually comes from the result of not being happy or satisfied with what you are doing now.
or that you have taught your self like a dog and cognitively feel your motivation leads you know where because of previous efforts when you where motivated.
