i have a horrible nightmare that i walk into a movie theatre, and the movie becomes interactive...i BECOME the movie, so much so that i forget it's only a movie and the point of the dream is to realize it's only a movie/dream. but even when i realize it's a dream and i have a seperate identity in the waking state, i walk out through the door that says, "exit" but instead of leaving the movie theatre, i enter a new movie and it all starts all over again until the movie is over and i exit the theatre and...you guessed it, another movie that still traps me into itself. it's as if you were on yahoo Q & A and could not stop typing. help!

Maybe you feel like there's an area of your life where you are going from one wrong situation/belief to another. Lost in a series of illusions if that makes sense. You find one idea or job or relationship or priority or way of seeing the world and think it's right and real, then realise it's wrong for you or not as worthwile as you thought it was and go to something else you think is right at the time. Then you realise you were wrong about that so you go to something else then realise that's not right either...see where I'm going? Anyway, that's the only thing I can think of.

This is funny... just a few moments ago, there was a dream over movies and books with a whole lot of detachment, and now on the other side, this shows you overidentifying.

You are so deeply invested in living that you don't know how to relax. Everything you do is done with passion, dedication, and pride, possibly to your own detriment,

Your dream is letting you know that you are so invested in each aspect of your life that you aren't able to simply live. You jump from important project to important project and just when you think you are done, you have yet another challenge to overcome.

Try to meditate on "nothing" for fifteen minutes a day. It will help.

Live well~

sounds like you're dreaming about stress. Stress at work, stress with girlfriend, stress with your past? You can't seem to get away from the stress. You enter a strange new relationship, but you leave to find that it's the same thing but diffrent setting. You will be unsecessfull until you learn to stay and finish the movie you're in. This could be your job, your significant other, your family, your whatever, (.... fill in the blank....). Your mind is trying to inform you of this, or maybe it's God trying to inform you of this. If you don't believe in God, maybe God is trying to talk to you? If you don't believe in some type of higher power, you might want to consider finding spiriturality. But if you already have spiriturality, then you need to take a personal inventory and see what destructive habits are you repeating over and over again. It could be you have an addicition to something. If that is the case, then join a 12-step group that applies to whatever addiction you are struggling with. But, until you take on rigerous honesty and face yourself, the self you are running from, you will never be able to finish the movie you are in! You will always want to take flight.

Thanks for the idea, I'm going to sell it to Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino.

I'll send you a free ticket to the movie premiere.

No, can't say I have. Maybe sobriety should be your next step?
