I think you mean WINNERS like Shaq (and DWade)
You sound a little mad that the Mavs collapsed last summer.
Yeah, Wade got a lot of ghost calls, but you know what? The teams playing win and lose games, not the refs.

TO your point, Dirk is the best player on the best team, so he should win MVP. He needs to lead the Mavs to the title or he turns into a Jim Kelly or Dan Marino type guy. Karl Malone for NBA purposes.

So, move past last year and get ready for a big Mavs run this year.

Though i like D Wade better, I think Dirk would win MVP cause he is really consistent and the leader of the number one team in the standings now. Also, Wade is down with an injury which will be a big loss for him getting a MVP chance.

As much as I want Kidd to win the MVP (come on - the guy is 34 and still putting up that number with 10 triple doubles as far!), his team is losing badly. Dirk is surely my favourite choice for MVP unless Shaq is scoring 30+ points and 15+ rebounds and win every single game without Wade from now. Nash will definitely not the MVP this year!

First of all, your title theory can't work because they give out the MVP award before the playoffs are even over. Wade's out because he's hurt, probably for the rest of the season. It's between Nash and Dirk. I say Dirk gets it because he's better on defense(not dominant, but better) and the way he's been passing the ball recently has him flirting with a triple-double every night. He actually does make his team better because he draws the total focus of the opposing defense.

MVP is for the best player during the regular season. it doesnt affect how a team does in the post season. but in saying this, the MVP will go to a player on a team that is doing well. a team which is winning. u really ccant go past dirk and nash for their teams are winning and these players are leading them extremely well. the type of players who when u take them out, the team struggles. honorable mention to kobe also with his team over achieving.

MVP will most likely go to drik unless he completely falters. his numbers are good and he is leading the best team in the competition....the heat arent doing well enough for Wade to be a serious candidate

well wade is injured, probably out for the MVP award. And no thanks on Dirk, it's Nash again. Also I must as Wade as no baby, he is one of the most talented ball players of the era, and he proved it last year in the playoffs beating who? Oh yes Dirk and the Mavs. Dirk is good but Nash just makes his team so much better where Dirk really... doesn't Dirk just makes Dirk look good, in which he is.

I think Dirk should win because I believe he is all around the best player. Not only is he good but he makes the players around him better. He has become a true team leader. He should be recognized this year and I feel he should have gotten the recognition last year.

it is going to of course bypass to a member of the triumphing team... in basic terms in 1969 (the 1st 12 months of a playoff MVP) did it bypass to a dropping participant (Jerry West of the Lakers, who misplaced a seven pastime very final to the Celtics, replace into the MVP of that sequence, the terrific charm of which replace into what grew to become out to be the suited battleground for Chamberlain vs. Russell)

karl malone won an mvp award,he didnt win any titles. kevin garnett won an mvp award,he didnt win any titles either. where did you get the idea that you had to win an nba title to win the mvp??

the mvp race now is just between nowitzki and nash.
