Believe it or not, there are some US states that still have sodomy laws on the books.
Of course, these are red states where GW voters live, mostly hillbillies and drooling NASCAR redneck morons.
Their theory is that if you outlaw pole smoking, there will be no pole smoking.
By the same logic, outlawing tall people means the end of anyone over 6'3".

There are still some states with laws forbidding sodomy, but those laws were struck down along with the Texan law by the US supreme Court, so they may not be enforced against consenting adults.

In 2003, the US Supreme Court ruled that Texas' same-sex sodomy law was unconstitutional, which essentially invalidated all such laws applying to consenting adults in their private conduct. Only a couple states have not officially repealed their laws, but if they were to try to enforce them, they would be challenged, in all likelihood successfully, on the basis of the 2003 Supreme Court decision.
