Think about it. So many of today's biggest companies and products have somewhat stupid names:
Amazon (.com)
Apple
Windows
Yahoo!
Limewire (wuh..?)
etc...
Also, can anyone name any more actual stupid/funny company/product names?

That actually depends more on what you have to offer. I agree that the name must be catchy. But it's a mixture of the two factors above, plus some good marketing strategy.
Now to answer your question. Woohoo!! would sound like a rip-off of Yahoo. No offense. Maybe you need to be a bit more original.

i dont know but i would check it out first before i used your site in seen if it was worthty to use for popup blocker form hacker in updates in such but it is a funny name for a site every one now days are all ways saying woohoo plus you would have to have a lot of money to get your own site in if people get it at all news movies every thing think about that ok have a nice day ok

You could name a company 'Dog Poop' Literally-and if you have the Marketing Budget it wouldn't make a lick of a difference.
