I know this dude who is constantly saying how I work for "the man." I have no idea what he's talking about, but he has never had a job, has 2 kids, parties constantly, and lives off of people until they kick him out. He's 24 years old and rides his skateboard....I guess my question is...what exactly is "working for the man" and does anyone else know someone like this dude? He seems like a loser to me, but everyone seems to like the guy.

"The man" can go to 2 different extremes. It could be a cop...in the sense that I got busted by "the man" or it could mean a power drug dealer...in the sense that so and so is "the man" (refering that, that person can get anything..

i know several people who fit that bill and i wil never figure out why people love them so much when everyone agrees they are a leech. yet they all like him. go figure.
