For an outstanding student in his sixth standard studying in central syllabus school, from now onwards what should be kept in mind to get admission in IIT-Chennai? What are all the parametres shall be looked in to. like, selecting/ changing schools, study centre if any etc.
Kindly, give your practical suggestions and valuable guidance please!

Prepare based on the CBSE books and familiarise yourself with the practical application of science syllabus that you had learnt in the school. Purchase the previous years question papers and prepare accordingly. You may even join some Tutorials.

Its tough.
However, be sure that all schools are preparing some parts of IIT syllabus for their students.

If you are from general caste , stop trying for IIT since there is almost 100% reservation
if you are not anyway you will get through

ya it is better that you start early for IIT's
almost all the cbse schools are providing it
if not there is no need to change schools just go out for FITJEE
etc.. that will solve everything
