and for the two you have Rafferty is a little unusual but unique and Marshall is normal but at least there is not alot of them.

I'd lose both Rafferty and Marshall and start again.

Consider:
Logan James Cox
Colby James Cox
Carson James Cox
Mitchell James Cox
Spencer James Cox
William (Liam) James Cox
Aidan James Cox

Well, between your two names I would go with Marshall James. Some other suggestions: Colin James, Elijah James, Matthew James, Tyler James, Michael James, Landon James.... Good luck!

Not to offend but Rafferty sounds like a cruel joke. Marshall out of those 2 but I personally like Liam James Cox. Liam is Gaelic for unwaivering protector. We were going to name ours that but we had a girl.

Marshall James Cox

I like someone elses suggestion of Tyler also.

Do not stress, in some cultures they do not name the child until their first birthday, this way a name can be chosen to reflect the childs personality.
