u are wrong, not just 18-22..lol. i think people mistake physical and emotional attraction for love...come to think of it...loving someone is caring for them so much...feeling their pain, feeling their happiness, but yes...i think people fall in love fast enough that they hit their head on the pavement of pure concrete and they wake up...

You know what dude god created two legs two hands two eyes but only one heart is because he made your perfact match somewhere so many times we mistakenly fall in love but than we realise it was not love the best example of luv is mother
A mothers love for her child is like nothing else in this world, It knows "NO LAW", "NO PITY". it dares things and crushes down with no mercy all that stands in path
so never stay in the dark knowledge that there ios only one love there are thousands of love and you will not need a single reson to fall in love if you are loving like a mother

It cant be love, those days are GONE when one said LOVE IS BLIND OR LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT-today its more MONEY MATCHING or else it has to be infatuation.deceiving the heart and soul it comes like a BIG BANG most of the time, it causes a blackout and disappears in thin air like a bubble ready to burst

I believe it is because at around this age, is when people start getting more confused on what they are as people, what they want to do, or be, and so they they acceptance, from others, understanding, and some one who listen to their so many questions, without answering with another one.
This age is the age of radical change from young to adult and people usually can't do this on their own. They need affection, to compensate for all the confusion to be address.
We all go through this one easier than others, is all a process to finally achieve, emotional independence.

Love is the basis of human nature. We are born to love others and to get their love. A human being falls in love with someone, with a hope deep within his heart that HE/ SHE WOULD BE LOVED. We are humans and we NEED LOVE. When we say ‘FALL IN LOVE’ is actually true. When a person admits that he is in love with some other person .. he drops down his ego and his bows his head before the other person.. he surrenders. This is what is falling in love.
