Entering in to IIT-Chennai, what are all the pre-requisite for a 6th std. student, from now onwards?

What are the good schools found in Chennai, who prepare for entering in to IIT- Chennai, and give due consideration for the prestigeious studies for bright students?
Is Kendiriya Vidyalaya (KV ) enough, or any other schools are well in preparing their students?
Please give guidance, those who are poineer in this educational areas!
