Emotional pain, because it can endure longer then physical pain.

I have a very high tolerance for pain, but when I was pregnant with our son I had an infected tooth that was beyond repair and had to be pulled immediately so as to stop the infection from spreading. But because I was pregnant, I couldn't have any Novocaine or other pain killers. So, the dentist told me he had no choice and had to pull my tooth out despite everything on the count of 3. He really pulled it out on the count of 2, so at that point I was both surprised and experienced the most excruciating pain upon extraction! And, I had a sudden respect for Dustin Hoffman in the movie "Marathon Man" !!
Ouch!! The throbbing afterward wasn't pleasant either, but when our beautiful son was born a few months later, I knew he was well worth it ...

A hard question for me since my life has been full of it so far. but I would have to say the loss of my father and then my friend which I had feelings for being tied for worst and looking at the way people live there lives and knowing that I will never be able to live mine like that second.

physical pains bad but you can always recover to a certain point, but there is some emotional pain that will scar you for a lifetime. so by far any emotional pain is the worst in my eyes.

ive suffered many kinds of pain. some of the worst are hurting soemone u love..and emotional abuse. at least heartache is a clean , pure pain u must suffer..when its ur fault u feel dirtee an terrible..

I had to have a very minor "surgery" and the local anesthetic did not work! I could feel him cutting me with the scalpel.....THAT HURT! It was worse than 2 C-sections!
