yes, what would you like to know....basically i know the part about voc. rehab...concerning the disability part of your claim...and if you do it right you can make a bundle.

Workman's compensation is a pay check only if you are hurt while at work and only for the time your doctor says you are disabled. Some companies offer it even if you are hurt or disabled at home. Women can also collect WC (if offered by the employer) during maternity leave. Most of the time you are only paid 80% of your wages, and others make you wait out a waiting period before it actually kicks in. If you are on WC and say you threw out your back.....Doctor says you need two weeks to rest...BY ALL MEANS REST. If you should happen to decide that you need to run in that marathon....lift weights....re roof your house...yadi yadi yadi....and you are caught, you can loose your right to any claims and possibly even your job. It may be a pain, but do as the doctor says...wait out the time even if you "feel" good cause if you do do anything that would aggravate the injury before you are released, who knows what could happen.

It's basically a rip-off for anyone wanting to start a business and hire anyone. Hardly any small person could possibly afford it.
It's in accordance with the Socialist belief that others should be responsible for your problems.
That's not to say that employers shouldn't choose to help you, just like providing health insuance. But it's against the Constitution to mandate it.
