I want to be a model. I am a bit overweight, and I'm not the prettiest girl in the world. But my dreams of being a model are enormous. I'm only 11, but that's okay too I guess. I am just trying to think on the positive side. Well, does anybody know what the steps are to being a model? Losing weight, getting pretty, etc. Like how do I grow my breasts out? [ A 32. ] How do I get a big butt? Also, what are touches I should make to my face and my body? Like eyebrows, nose hairs, etc. Thank you all very much! I appreciate it, greatly!

two reasons for my msg:
1) i understand this is ur dream...and maybe it will come true if u don't give up on it...but u r still young to worry about "growing" ur breasts and developing a big butt (actually models have small butts). u r too young and ur body has not fully grown...u have to wait until u r 21..that's when u will be fully grown...meanwhile, u can do what u can do at this age. perhaps u can model for clothing for kids ur age? u can buy books to read more about beauty and etc...
2) plz, plz, plz do not diet and be careful of developing an eating disorder! being thin does not necessarily mean being beautiful. the media has brainwashed ppl in ways that they think if they become thin they will have it all. that's not true at all...
u r young and u need to take good care of urself...to grow and be healthy!
Good Luck... :)

Enroll in Finishing School and everything is taken up there including social graces, personality development, ramp modelling, etc. and you will learn connections.

I don't feel there's anything wrong with setting your sights on what you'd like to do for the future...Dreaming big is great no matter how old you are...But as far as worrying about certain things about your appearance such as breast size and butt size, you can't really change that all that much. That's basically hereditary and you're still very young. You have a lot of time to continue growing until about 15-16 years of age. I wouldn't worry so much about that at this point in time. Now, as for the weight issue, if you'd like to lose weight, the best advice I could give you is to cut out the soda pop and all of the junk food such as chips, refined sugars (such as snack cakes, cookies, etc.), and white bread. All of those contribute to being overweight and they also contribute to overeating because they don't make you full long enough. My suggestion is to eat more fresh fruit and veggies, and eat more foods with fiber such as oatmeal, wheat bread, prunes, etc. Another way to keep yourself from overeating would be to eat mini meals throughout the day but do watch what you eat because for example a McDonalds Big Mac contains about as much fat and calories as half your daily intake. You do need to be health conscience but don't deprive yourself of food to be a certain way. It will most surely not do yourself any good in the long run especially since you're at the age that you're currently at. Also, try to be more active in sports and or indoor/outdoor activities.. Walking around the block of your neighborhood does burn calories and is a good cardio workout to help lose weight especially if you're walking for more than 30 minutes. It helps tone muscles all over instead of in just one general location. Volleyball, basketball, badminton, running/jogging, racquetball, tennis are all good examples of cardio workouts. You also might want to consider a mulit-vitamin supplement if you feel that you are not eating healthy. Ask your parent for help on choosing one out of the vitamin aisle at your local department or health food store. As for your face, if you are able to work on the way that you eat, that will in turn help combat acne as well as washing your face at least twice a day and putting moisturizer on if your skin is dry. Also don't forget if you go out in the sun to use a sunblock. A suntan might look great when you're that young, but you'll be paying for it later on in life with wrinkles! And last but not least, try to be happy as yourself as an individual. Don't compare yourself at this early of an age to others. You still have alot of changing to go through and chances are 5-10 years from now you won't look the way you do today. Be happy as an individual and that you're unique in your own way.

And as some side advice, try not to obsess over your weight at this age. I know it can be distressing at times and I've definitely been there before being overweight, but I most certainly can look back and laugh at it all because I changed the way that I look now by eating more healthy foods and taking better care of myself. I just wish I started back in middle/high school. But regardless, my body is thanking me for it now and to the years to come. Oh and for God's sake, please stay away from drugs, alcohol and diet pills....They will all harm you more than anything!!

And last but not least....concentrate on your studies...!!Regardless of what you or anyone else thinks...education does mean alot in the world above any career...You'd be surprised at the education level that most models and actors/actresses have... Education is the key to getting places in life and you if you have the skills and knowledge....then everything else will come in time. Prioritze yourself with education first and making simple changes with the way you approach life such as with the way that you eat and incorporating excercise in it and you'll later on be pleased with your results.

don't try. you will only end up becoming a junkie and being sexually abused.

models are mostly idiots. some are not, but they are the sort who posess both more intellect and more ambition that you or I.

be well.
