Neither skin color nor being poor have anything to do with smoking menthol cigarettes. Whether I've been rich (which I was at one time), or poor, which I have also been, I've always smoked Menthol except for when I first began smoking. Then Winston's were the big rage...and my throat was always dry. So I had switched to Salem and haven't wavered from menthol since.
It isn't socially fair to stereotype anyone because you just can't judge a book by it's cover. When people say regular...they probably mean it isn't a light or ultra-light menthol...and it's a full flavor, which some people call regular.

Why are people attacking him? I've seen it, you've seen it, everyone's seen it. Most Black people who smoke do smoke menthol cigarettes. I don't know a single smoking Black person who doesn't smoke menthols. No wait, there's one, she switched from menthol to regulars. She smoked menthol for about 15 years, and has smoked regulars for only the past few.
It's not about stereotyping, it's only behavior observation. Jeez peoples, lighten up.

How old are you??? Are you in every store when everyone orders a pack of cigarettes?? White and black people smoke menthol and regular, whatever their preference is. This was about one of the dumbest questions i have seen yet.

they don't want you to stereotype them, but then they just assume that you know that they actually wanted the menthol cigs.so really you are correct to stereotype them. i think they do have the menthol gene, and that somehow got passed on to the white people who want to be black. that is why some white people smoke them, they don't know that they are really white.

Well, I could say that all blacks like menthol, if that makes ya feel better.
If not, try not to stereotype. There's enough of that going in the world.

Where did this drivel come from? I know a good many Black people who smoke regular cigarettes, filtered and non-filtered. Perhaps you need to do a statistics check with Phillip Morris.
