ex is the skimpy version of the car. No perks, no cup holders, ac, basically: Man you're lucky the windows roll down, even if it's by hand. Even the stereo is radio only.

dx is midgrade version of the car. Cup holders, AC (probably), but not much else. Probably a tape player but nothing fancy.

lx is the luxury model. Cup holders, pockets in the door to hold stuff, Ac, power everything, (windows, locks, doors).

Basically, what's your car got for stuff?

You can also absolutely call your local DMV and ask them what kind of car it is based on your registration. They'll tell you.

I guess it all depends on some other options like year? and 2 door/4 door or hatchback? but ok hondas are really simple cars... it all depends what kind of motor do you have? is it vtec? if its vtec, has power windows, sunroof, power locks etc... its a EX... if doesnt have any of that/ doesnt have power steering than its a DX.... i believe if it just has power locks and nothing else power, maybe power mirrors its a LX....

If its a hatchback... the older 92-95 models have cx, vx, dx, si.... the DX is the easiest to distinguish because its a basic car no power anything no vtec... the SI has a vtec engine... as well as the CX and VX models but the CX and VX modles carry the "vtec economical" engines and are usually accompinied buy "pleather" seats on the interior...

Hopefully this helps and isnt confusing, if i saw a pic id be able to tell ya :)

You can get your car's history online with just the VIN. Try carfax.com. It'll tell you everything about the car.
