Invention of gun powder in Europe gave the idea of the invention of bombs by further reseaching on it.
This helped in the decline of the feaudalism which was practiced in Europe. This led to the rise of national monarchies in Europe.
This was the help of the gun powder.
But later this rise of national monarchies led to the fighting with their neighbouring countries( such as Europe and France, France and Germany etc..) for the colonies and many more reasons made the use of bombs very destructive.
This rivality led to the invention of atomic bomb in last century.Now the use of bombs has been baned by the U.N.O. But still many atomic bombs which were made can't be destroyed.
Now, there is a technology to extract the electricity from these atomic bombs which can last long for many years(5-10). Now the use of bombs has been baned, the invention of gun powder can only help us in creating peace.

The Money spent on inventing weapons and bombs and manufacturing them can be better spent on social and welfare measures of the Nation. In such case tax burden on the people can also be reduced. We cannot have peace with weapons and bombs. But the custodians of these deadly items think they have to stock these items to show their superiority over others. So long as this feeling of superiority remains among the Nations we cannot have a world without weapons and bombs. In this contest every nations feels that they must have weapons and bombs for their self protection. this is applicable to individuals also. So first of all one must forget about superiority feeling and think about equality only.

This has nothing to do with survival of the fittest. Weapons were originally developed as protection from rogue tribes looking for more land or slaves. It has been exasperated do to the likes of Genghis Khan, Hitler and the such. Now they are developed as a means of deterrents. You will never get rid of weapons without true world peace and harmony. This is highly unlikely ever. People, in their nature, are free thinkers, and free thinkers can be rogue thinkers. You take the good and the bad and deal with the bad best as possible. Right now it's to try and deter them with self protection. Sometimes laws are not enough.

Invention of weapons and bombs are right as they keep aggressors in check. We can create peace with the energy that used to make weapons and bombs like nuclear and atomic energy to produce electricity. The technology that used in inventions and bombs are double edged knife. It depends on the user to make or mar.

Its wrong.It was invented for saftey of human being.But it increased problems .The no of people using it for good purpose is very less as compared to people usin it for bad purpose.
