Personally I know it sucks to be involved in a case. Im currently going thru a claim with w/c after a fall at work back in Aug. They drag their feet, question everything, ask for 2nd opinions. Right now I'm under a docs care b/c when I fell I jammed my wrist and developed carpal tunnel..also have cupital tunnel at my elbow and a problem with my shoulder. At one point the idiot case worker I deal with told me my shoulder wasnt part of my arm! WTF>>>

Anyway, they are supposed to pay for all medicines and treatments related to your injury and are supposed to pay some type of compensation if ur out of work...Ive hired an attorney to deal with my employers insurance company b/c the case worker assigned to my case would never return my calls. From what my lawyer has told me, if certain medical treatment is denied, then motions can be filed with the industrial commission (thats what its called here in NC) compelling w/c to pay...we havent had to do that yet but there have been many delays.

Good luck..I've been out of work since the end of Oct and only minimal treatment has been administered...6 weeks ago my doc said i need surgery and just this week w/c has scheduled me for a 2nd opinion..its not fun and in my opinion someone needs to take a look at this messy issue.
