Try to feed soft, fresh fruits and veggies - peas, green beans, corn, banana, small pieces of ripe pear or peach. Your baby can eat 'almost' anything you can eat, just make sure the pieces are small and not hard. Don't give meat unless it is soft and very small pieces, but various kinds of potatoes and breads are good. Feed your child at each meal plus a snack in the morning, afternoon, and before bed. Kids that age need to eat small amts frequently. Every child is different, but my first one ate CONSTANTLY at that age, little pieces of food... Just pay attention to your child's natural appetite and rhythm and feed him when he is hungry. If he gets hungry before a regular meal time, then feed him.

There use to be special free clinics where you could take your baby on a regular basis, to weigh them, measure them, and to get advice on feeding and anything else that you might want to know about. Ask your doctor or your pharmacist whether these clinics still exist as they were very helpful to young mothers.

children that age should have 3 meals and 2-3 snacks a day.......always give whole milk, and pay close attention if you give eggs, nuts, honey, or wheat for allergic reactions.....also if you feed the baby hot dogs or grapes make sure to cut them up....and watch out for things like popcorn and nuts...for choking reasons. other than that just give them a healthy balanced diet with a variety of foods and lots of fruits and veggies.

By one year they can eat anything...as long as you don't feel it would be too spicy, or have too much sugar, or anything like that. Anytime you get hungry they normally would...So like every couple of hours, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner with snacks in between. You probably should do whole milk instead of regular though.
