NOT AT ALL!!! Im a NC fan but when a player gets ejected for a BS call it erks me. You could clearly see that he was going for the ball. His back started turning away, it was a clear cut accident. They should reverse the suspension.

I was about 90% sure it was a forearm, not an elbow, but apparently the refs disagreed.
That said, I think the right call was made. It was flagrant but without the intent to injure. Duke-UNC is always a heated rivalry and emotions can build up quickly. Could Henderson have stopped his hand? Probably. But was his intent to see Hansbrough gets cut and bleeds? Probably not. I think it was handled well -- Hansbrough had a right to be mad and Coach K said Duke would take full responsibility, but noted Henderson had no intentions of hurting Tyler.
While the ball was out of play -- in the sense that it was no where near Hansbrough's head -- it wasn't as though Henderson sucker punched him or hit him in a way that is totally out of context for a basketball game.

First off, you have in your "star" forward in the game with 14 seconds left and you're up 14 points over your conference nemesis. What did they think was going to happen? A tea party??
With that being said, I've watched it about a billion times now and it was obvious Henderson was going in with the intent of giving a hard foul. Now whether he went in with the intention of jacking up Hansbrough's nose, I don't think so. But the suspension is a risk you take when you're coming in hard like that. He let his frustration get the best of him.
And honestly, with the way Hansbrough popped up and came at Henderson with all his "Psycho T" glory....I would tossed him too.
Yet when it all comes down to it, the officials did the right thing because had they not tossed and suspended Henderson, it would've made that situation ten times worse....and it would've definitely carried over into the ACC tournament. Plus considering it happened at North Carolina against a North Carolina player didn't exactly help the situation. The refs were simply preventing UNC fans from tearing the damn building apart.

Tough to truly say, part of me says yes because of the intial trajectory of the elbow. It was gonna be a hard foul in any case. I think the refs were actually huddling to see if they could keep FROM throwing him out. Not sure, but I think the rules is worded about an elbow above the shoulders to a person not in possesion? So, if that is the case, they really didn't have any option. I do know that is gonna hurt Duke bad in the tourney, they don't have the usual depth to withstand a loss like that. I wish them well though, but , being a Heel fan, not to awful much of it.

Well my opinion is this. It is hard to really tell what he was really trying to do, I think that the intensity of the game was flowing and to be honest I don't know if he really knows what he was trying to do. Part of me wants to think he was going for the ball but hating Duke and being a huge UNC fan for years makes me think it was intentional. It very well could have been a pure accident, I guess nobody really knows.

You all are ridiculous....that's the same BS that Isiah Thomas fed to JR Smith when he sent in a goon to take him out because Melo, Camby & the Denver Nuggets were whoopin' the Knicks butts and led to that brawl.
A coach and the players have a right to play 1000% during the entire game...not to slow up because it the other team can't mange to play to MY ability...screw that!
That's no way for a player to act, scouts are always watching(starter or not) they don't like to see that & rest assured that guy is gonna pay when he runs into someobe with the same motive and idiotic mindset that he portrays.
Besides the stated above...I can't stand neither one of those teams...

i think it was because the ball was already in the air...besides if you want to reject something you don't have to try and do it that hard to get some oooohhhs...i think it was intentional
