I do not want to put anything on Ebay that isn't worth putting up on Ebay.

ANYTHING (well, just about anything) can be put on ebay. You have to ask what it's worth and then is it worth your time to put it up there and process the item.

Search for similar items that have already sold to get an idea of price. Then make your decision.

I recently sold four 32mb sticks for a total of 99 cents and 4.05 shipping. Was that worth my time? No, but I couldn't see throwing them in the trash.

You should add a list to show examples of items you have. You'd be surprised at the things that are sold/bought on eBay. Anything of high value..anything rare..cd's, dvd's..electronics..make up..board games/puzzles..shoes/clothes..jewelry..hand bags, wallets..vehicles..pets..the list goes on! You should take a look at what you have, and then look it up on eBay first..to see if it's being sold by a handful of buyers, and then observe the price range that the item is being sold for..you have to make sure your item isn't the most expensive out there or you wont sell.

Timing can be a factor as an item may not get any bids, but relist it next week and it might sell. As someone else said, it depends how much time you want to spend listing, packing and mailing your items.

you can sell anything on ebay. I wouldn't say one item is any better than another.
