My hubby seems to believe so and always says he never dreams. Until now I never believed that their are people who don't dream and I think its not always a sign of restless nights unless its really a bad dream. What do you think?

There's no way to prove if some people really don't dream, or they do but forget as soon as the dream is over. That is highly possible, since it happens to a lot of people to remember a dream for only a few seconds after they wake up and later remember that they dreamed, but don't know of what. This might be basically the same thing only to a greater extent. But no, dreaming is not a sign of restless nights, not at all. It's normal, but no one knows why people dream. There's lots of theories, but nothing has been proven. It's still one of life's mysteries.

No in fact the opposite is true. We rarely remember our dreams yet studies have shown that when we do sleep we dream. If you can remember more of your dreams you are more likely in a deeper sleep. Also if you are constantly remembering your dreams then it would seem that your subconscious or the Lord is trying to tell you something.

Dreams are necessary to keep us sane. Just because he can't remember a dream doesn't mean he hasn't had any. If he seems to be getting enough sleep then there should not be a problem. It is my belief that we only remember our dreams if it is something important. So I don't know but I think everyone dreams if they reach REM sleep. And you need to reach rem in order to function.
