I just my transcript today and my worst fears came true, a failing grade showed up in the record. The subject is Calculus, before I show it to my parents I need a good excuse for the failing grade...
Facts:
I had an operation at that time (semester)
When I took Calculus 1 again I got a grade of 3.0 ^_^
My Calculus 2 grade is 2.5 LOL
I need a good reasoning to my parents

your operation is your best excuse. say, after the operation that you were not able to catch up again.
there is much worse in life than a failing grade. trust me. if they can't get over that then...
i hope you have the guts to tell them they need to get over it.
