TV gives us images of peoples we will never meet.. we start liking them but what is the point of liking them?

If we never meet these kind of people, why do we feel attracted to them. And why does TV keep pushing images of people's from other countries( they keep putting images of people from Asia for example ) , then we get attracted to them.. and become disillusioned as we find out we can't even meet those people.

And i'm talking especdially about poor people who never travel. Rich people usually travel so they can meet anyone. not just rich people but middle class people still travel. but not me and other poor people

i don't mean just actors. But documentaries , reports and stuff. with real people.

the answer is simple......money. the media advertises people in a way that seem attractive. They convince you they are attractive so that you and others are put in a state of disillusionment on what beauty is so that they can better control what the masses like and want in order to get more money out of them by the means of tabloids, movies....well just about anything really...food, clothes, lotions..whatever lol.

As far as directing all of this to the "poor" class of society, that's been around for ages. Back when paintings and art were a form of entertainment, it was the poor and middle classes that wernt exposed to much that made a painting famous. It's the idea that "they dont know better" because they arn't exposed. But I dont believe you have to be exposed to much to apretiate other kinds of beauty, just having the education is enough. It's just a matter of ignorance. and the masses have been bringin in the bucks from around the world for centuries because of it.

I think of it as entertainment only. In no way do I think I will ever meet these actors or have a relationship with them. It's just for fun. If a person wants to socialize with that actor he may be having trouble recognizing reality.
