It is common knowledge that Americu is made of racism, fail and AIDS. Frankly, ethnocentricity is part of human nature and going against our hardwired programming would be a very great undertaking indeed.
One way to go about stopping it would be to introduce more inter-race dialogue, awareness etc. You have to understand that racism follows a cyclic pattern, whereby misunderstanding causes fear and fear generates racial hatred.
How about this: Minorities try harder to integrate? Stop segregating themselves from society at large? If you go to university, then I really dont think I need to explain any furhter what I mean.
As an example, the South Asian community in Canada could do better to assimilate (though our problem isn't even a fraction of the shitstorm you guys have to deal with). Canadian society might have it's shortcomings but you can learn from us still.

The only way to rid america or the world of racism is to rid the world of race. If everyone is human and not a certain race then racism becomes extinct. However, that doesn't keep people from hating others, it just takes the race out of the equation.

Racism in the our world will come to an end when we make contact with civilizations on other planets. People will then realize that we are all in this together. Racism may develop between the people of the Earth and those on the other planet. Too bad that world governments deny the existence of UFOs.

When humans are shown something more amazing other than the four walls and a roof that they are confined to, they'll have something a little bit more to live by, I am convinced. Since we are so limited to what we are "allowed", we are filled with useless negative emotions. Confinement in MY opinion, is the root of everything bad that comes from our minds.
