10-14 hours of sleep is too much, that's why you feel exhausted believe it or not
if you can limit your sleep time (7-8 hours) you would probably improve your condition

There are many reasons this could be occurring, and one of them that nobody has mentioned is that even though you are in bed all night, you aren't actually getting continuous rest because you sleep is being interrupted. For about a year and a half I had the same problem-no matter how much I slept I was always exhausted and ready for a nap. But then I went to the doctor, and turns out I had developed minor asthma, and was unable to breath correctly at night, so that inability to breath correctly was leading to an inability to rest correctly.
You can never know for sure what's going on. Just go to a really good doctor that knows what they're talking about.
My doctor gave me some medicine and after ONE DAY of treatment I noticed a remarkable difference and for the first time in over a year I actually had energy during the day.

It sounds like you have a melatonin imbalance. Too much leads to oversleeping, vivid dreams and groginess during the day.
Too little leads to not enough sleep, and feeling like you've been partially awake all night.
To try and get your system straightened out, get a bedtime routine going. Avoid caffeine for 6 hours before bedtime. It may be affecting you more than you think. Also, avoid TV's and computers for an hour before bed, since the light they give off messes with your internal sleep clock. At night, make sure your room is dark, but will still let in some daylight when the sun comes up. Light triggers the brain to stop making melatonin and help you wake up. You may want to get one of those alarm clocks that gradually plays music and brings up the lights to wake you up.
If none of this works, look into a sleep disorder clinic.

Your body needs, sleep about 7hours or so.You need REM sleep.
If you are sporadic sleeping. Two hours here ,10 here ,14 there.
That can make you feel tired too.Set your alarm get up at 7:30a.m. go shower.Eat breakfast like toast and oatmeal.Drink
some juice.Eat lunch,snack on fruit.No sugar.No sweets.no soda.
Go to bed at 11:00p.m.Keep this up for a month, you are just off track.Drink some sleepy-time tea before bedtime. You are like all the rest of us non-sleepers.you now sleep too much. The dreams
just go with the territory.Your bedroom temp.should be about 65
degrees.

first of all i would recommend seeing a doctor..preferably a sleep specialist. but for now you need to keep a sleep schedule. go to bed and get up at the same time every day, even on the weekends. do you have any health or mental conditions or are undergoing major stress? that could have a lot to do with it. good luck.

Your oversleeping...sleeping too much is just as bad as not sleeping enough. try setting your alarm to wake you up after 8 hours. Get a little exercise during the day to recharge yourself.
I would see a doctor to rule out depression.
