I was wondering if it was necessary to report any juvenile misdemeanors or civil infractions on a college application. I once read that it was unnecessary but I'd like verification. Thank you.

No, you don't have to. Only the things you have done after you are 18. Your juvenile record is sealed after you reach 18.

Well in Indiana if you're over the age of 18 then no you don'.t
In fact in most cases your juvenile record is deleted by your 18th birthday!

i would that you might have to depending on the college i know you have to if you apply for a job but it has been soo long since i have touched an application to college but you might have to now sorry hope it helps in some way

If the question arises just ignore it. Even a police check should not disclose a juvenile crime.

Only if they want it, some colleges do and some dont. Just check into it. It shouldnt keep be able to do any kind of damage for u to go to college.

if they dont ask for it, you probably dont have to. but if i can recall properly, it was part of my application
