What wrong with it?

It is failing and will soon need to be replaced.

Although as a technician I have seen this problem go away after a small time. Not likely though. If it is that loud it is damaged inside. They are very delicate pieces. It is like a record player with the needle being about 1/9th the width of a hair close to the record. Any little shift and it will damage.

Back up your files and be ready to install a new one.

is your computer hanging up? your hard drive may be crashing down anytime soon if it sounds like vacuum cleaner it means that physically it is damaged so you may be needing to buy a new one HDD soon. I suggest that while it is still working you back up your important files.

Imediately back it up, and be prepared to get a new one.
