To truly answer your question, it might helpful to know a few things. For example, are you looking for internal or external headphones, do you want noise canceling, and how will price determine your choice. I also hated the iPod earphones for the same reasons as you, they didn't fit my ears and the sound quality was horrible. I tired several different types and brands of earphones before finally settling on my favorite. However, I do still have 3 types of earphones for different uses. My favorite pair overall would be my Bose Quietcomfort earphones the best, and I use them the most. They offer a noise cancelling feature which is great for traveling on airplanes or commuter trains. The quality is great for hearing everything your music has to offer. I would say the only downside was the cost, approx $300. However, if you really love your music, $300 is a small cost. My second favorite pair would be my Sony over-ear noise cancelling earphones. They are great for working out because they allow any sweat to fall away, umlike the Bose earphones that would trap sweat buildup, and the inner type earphones would slip out when the sweat started to buildup. They weren't terribly expensive, around $79 at Best Buy. My thirn favorite pair would be my Phillips inner-ear, noise cancelling 'phones. I mainly use them for riding my bike, while wearing a helmet, and listening to music while lying on my pillow before going to sleep. It's hard to wear the Bose and Sony earphones while my head is on the pillow. Additionally, the Phillips have a few choices of interchangeable cushions that fit inside your ear, so you can find the one that fits properly inside your ear. I think they cost around $45 at Best Buy. I hope that helps.

Shaggy, I seriously hope you're joking. Any headphones included with MP3 players suck 99% of the time. They're just something cheap to get you by (and most people don't even really mind them). I have the nano, and the iPod headphones, and I personally hate them, but I use them, just because I'm too dang cheap to buy newer ones.

a million. bypass to the folder the position your iTunes music is kept (bypass to the "software files" for that, lower than C:), 2. bypass to the folder the position your LimeWire music is kept. in case you're not any more certain, search for the call of between the songs, then bypass to this is area. 3. Make a clean folder contained in the iTunes music library with the artist's call on it (eg: U2) 4. Make a folder with the album's call lower than the artist's call (eg: Vertigo) 5. Drag-and-Drop the music into there. Re-call it if needed. that is that if this fails: 1a. discover the folder the position your Limewire music is, utilising the education from the aft-reported step 2. 2a. Open iTunes 3a. Drag-and-drop the music into your Library. in case you're utilising a diverse workstation for both iTunes and Limewire, make the folders (Step 3-5) in a reminiscence key and later move those folders into the faster-reported iTunes Library. Then, sinc your iPod with iTunes. it truly is the ultimate way.
