add.. none of my other fish even look sick.. whta could be the prob?

No way to tell, really, but one thought no one else has suggested - when did you feed him?
Malnutrition/starvation is one of the leading causes of their deaths. They are nocturnal so if you only feed algae pellets during the day, the other fish have a good chance of finishing the food off before he gets the chance to eat. It's best to put their food (algae pellets plus shrimp pellets and fresh veggies) in right before (or after) the lights go out.

did you just add it too the tank? it's usually a good idea to quarantine new fish for a while to see how they do. you may have just gotten a bad fish (try to see if the place you got the pleco has a return policy) I did this with little catfish and the second one lived. Sometimes the whole shipment the pet store gets in could be infected too...so don't automatically blame yourself

Hello. I don't mean to sound like a smarta** but I might've just died from natural causes. Like age, internal ailments, or some other thing. My dad once got one and it died within a month to two.

It could have had internal parasites, a disease, or old age. Stress also kills fish. It may have been getting picked on by the other fish or maybe it didn't have enough algae to eat. Just buy another one, they are cheap.

er, probably you gave it the wrong medicine. Cheer up. Maybe thats what happened.
