so, if i load sims 2 pets, sims 2 night life, and sims 2 open for business all at once, can i play the game? (this is without uninstalling a game)

Definetely. You just put in the Pets CD and all the games will run.

If you get a new expansion pack, you'll use the new disc.

Yes you will have everything in all of them that you installed, and some people say you do it in order, but it is not required. I would recommend it because you seem to encounter less problems while installing. Sims 2 seasons is the newest. But say if you have open for business don't uninstall it for university or you will lose your saved games. Use the latest expansion pack to run the game.

the thing is you don't have to do that. If you've installed all of these, You will run the game on the pets cd (since it's the latest EP that you have) and you get to have the features of all of the EPs. You just click on the pets icon to run it.

yes. just install them all in order. all you will need to run the game is the last game that was released (i think it is pets, but not sure)
