Unless you are ovulating during your period, which is VERY uncommon, you cannot get pregnant during your period. I suppose that some people have irregular cycles that would have ovulation very close to the period, but this would be so very far out of the normal course of things.

But, should you actually get pregnant during your period, no I don't think it would stop your period right away. The fetus does not excreate enough hormones for a couple of weeks.

No, not usually. It usually takes the full four to six weeks before your body actually realises it is pregnant. If you have sex on your period and by some chance you get pregnant, you will usually not start showing signs of pregnancy (missed period etc) until you are due for your next period. Everyone is different, though.

Are you pregnant?? Or do you just think you are? The reason I ask is cause generally you have to ovulate to become pregnant and you don't do this while you have your period! It generally happens about 14days latter! However some people can become pregnant and then continue to have their period!

not necessarily. and if u have sex during your period the egg may not even be FERTILIZED til 5 days later, not to mention the time to get implanted into the uterine wall. so by then, your period may have stopped on its own anyway.
