who would you pick first?

Russell has great size and plenty of big-game experience. He is also accustomed to playing against top talent week after week. While ND has loads of tradition, their schedule is soft, and Quinn has not seen too many NFL caliber players line up in opposing defenses. Russell would be the safer first pick of the two, but the Raiders have so many needs that any player will help them immediately.

Without a doubt, it has to be JaMarcus Russell. Russell ripped and tore the ND defense to shreds in the Sugar Bowl. Russell has a good arm, he's tough and he impressed the scouts at the combine. Quinn's numbers has dropped since the Sugar Bowl loss and he left the combine too early which didn't help matters for him. ND last season even with it's soft schedule lost games they should had won. I'm looking for Russell to be picked by the Raiders who has the number 1 spot in next month's draft. Quinn will go 9 or 10 but he will not be in the top 5. I think Troy Smith of OSU will go before Quinn.

Russell, hes the better qb, all the mock drafts say russel to. There saying Quinn could fall as far back as no. 9 to maimi

I'd pick Russell but I think Quinn will get picked first.

Russell.

He's bigger and stronger. Quinn is smaller and with that hideous Oakland offensive line, Russell has a better chance of surviving than Quinn does.

Quinn hasn't ever really won a big game. Russell has.

Russell for sure. There is no way Quinn will go at number 1. Every chance he has had at a big game, he choked. His arm strength is pretty poor, too. Russell has some minor flaws, but he definately shows more poise and talent.

Russell. Who wouldn't want to pick up another Daunte Culpepper? Minus the fumbles, that is. Quinn choked during post-season.

Hands down Russell. Saw him play in his first game for LSU and was in awe on how huge this QB was and instantly reminded me of Culpepper.
