can anyone suggest me good book r magacine to know about two wheeler & three wheelers how they work?i need a clear view abt vehicles?can anyone?

Engines are rated by displacement.  This is the difference in volume between the cylinder(s) at the bottom and top of the piston's stroke.  If your engine is rated at 50 cc, that's the displacement.

The compression ratio is the total volume at maximum (bottom of stroke) divided by the total volume at minimum (top of stroke).  The effective compression ratio can be less than this, due to valve timing (e.g. Atkinson-cycle engines).

50c.c. is the total engine size. It is the amount of air the cylinder can hold when the piston is in the full down position. If it is a 1 cylinder engine, the cylinder would hold 50c.c. or cubic centimetres of air. If it were a two cylinder engine, each cylinder would hold 25c.c. of air. cubic centimeters=cc that is the total volume of the combustion chamber(s) in an engine, when it come to literature about 2 weelers trykes my sugestion is to look in the wikypedia.
