umm i'd say it kinda looks like they have a common line of longitude

That is a area where most Americans fail miserably!
They read words, but the understanding goes out the windows. That is why so many students stay away from higher math, must read and understand what was read! Science and chemistry, the same applies.
I bet you do not play any instrument, .i.e Flute, Violin, Oboe, Clarinet, French Horn, too, no Martial Arts, Ballet, Fencing, Read and write two languages, or play Tennis or chess.
