once a problem is recognized and nothing is done to prevent it. are we get disciplined to grow past it. Ignorance to a law does not form a defence to it. we still need to begin to obey it as a society. Choosing which laws or morals to follow is where i believe a disagreance comes in. God's law should be supreme.

The main issue in this world from lack of discipline is students/teenagers thinking they are worth nothing and giving up on their life and dropping out of school or getting hooked on drugs. If they are not being disciplined to do what is right they are not going to care that what they are doing is wrong and are just going to tell anyone who tries to help the to go F*** themselves after a while, and than after a while half of the new generation is in jail, and they still wouldnt care.

Racism, heterosexism, ethnocentrism

Discipline alone is not enough to prevent people from forming generalizations, stereotypes, or hell, even sometimes bigoted ideas of people different from themselves. Forming those mental simplifications is a natural and sometimes necessary way for people to understand their environments... but sometimes it becomes counterproductive.

Our brains aren't always intuitive enough to understand different cultures, races, ethnicities, or sexual orientations. Just being "more disciplined" will not make up for lack of experience or exposure to people different from themselves. It's nobody's fault that we don't have more exposure to different people. But we should encourage ourselves and others to seek out this exposure and to make efforts to live more harmoniously. That only comes with a certain degree of life experience though.
