If you are less than a month pregnant and you had external traumas like: My baby which is 15 month old accidentally stepped and jumped in my abdomen area. I accidentally fell from a sofa to the floor, butt first. Is exercising also a no-no, like jumping jacks? Thanks

I wasn't aware that I was pregnant when the fall and the accident with my baby happened okay? So, no silly answers please!

Anything is possible but when your that early in the pregnancy the baby is very well protected inside .. When i was 12wks preg i was involved in a minor car accident and now i had a beautiful 2yr old. Miscarriage can occur weither you have a fall/bump etc or not. Try not to stress about this but if you are really worried then go visit your doctor and ask if that can do a scan to see the baby. My eldest daughter always accidently stood or bumped my tummy and my youngest is fine. I've also fallen on my tummy when i went ice skating not knowing i was pregnant and i didnt have a miscarriage. About exercising i would ask your doctor about this to which ones you can safely do whilst pregnant.
Good Luck

Possible...but unlikely. The gestaional sack protects your baby. It acts as a shock absorber. The external trauma would have to be pretty severe, unless you were prone to moscarriage in the first place. Excercise is fine during early and even late pregnancy. The rule of thumb is don't do anymore than you were already doing. If you want to start an exercise program now, I reccomnd talking to your doctor about it. And avoid high impact exercise. Swimming is awesome for a pregnacy.

Anything is possible. I know when I was 8 weeks, I was in a car wreck and was wearing my seat belt. When the 911 operator was told that I was pregnant, it was a whole different ball game. I had to have ultrasounds, both internal and external and have a few test run to make sure that nothing had happened to the baby. Make an appointment at you OB and tell them what has happened and they will help you out. Good luck and I hope everything is ok!

It is very possible for external trauma to cause a miscarriage, but that doesn't mean it will. I fell down a flight of stairs when I was six months along and dislocated my shoulder. When I felt my daughter kick a couple hours later, I cried with joy.
High impact exercises are not a good idea; low/no impact exercises are great. Walk, swim.

It is possible for that to happen. But unlikely. That early on the baby is surrounded by lots of cushiney fluid and tissue. I got pregnant when my son was 6 months old so basicly my whole pregncany with my second son I was getting bounce on unexpectly. I would think that you would have to take a nasty fall or repeated jumps to your belly to have something to worry about.

Yes negative external stimulation can bring about a miscarriage, try some pregnant exercises that you can do without traumatizing the fetus, do not let your 15 month old get her feet close enough, and be careful about falls. You are not being cautious enough and that is going to be trouble so please for the sake of your unborn child be CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!

I would say no, but there is always a chance. Being not very far along, the baby is very small and protected in its sac. Just be more careful. I doubt a 15 month old weighs enough to do any damage. You can exercise, just be careful.

Miscarriage is always possible, something like that sure can increase the chance. Contact dr and watch for bleeding

yes it is possible. Don't feel bad about the things that happened, they were accidents and accidents happen.
