IMO we need a balance. Since the universe is expanding, the worse gets worse and the better gets better. Take your pick.

I agree-when a person searches themselves to discover in them those negative feelings associated with fear of the unknown-and examines them to understand those feelings, and opens their minds to positive energy and life, then true living begins....

Hatred, prejudice, violence, greed, pride, and terrorism are deadly to the human soul-even the soul of the person who adheres to such things. To truly escape these things, a person must think, and be aware of the damage that fear cause both to the assailant and the victim. The damage is greater to the assailant, because although a victim may die, the assailant becomes like the living dead, being unable to lift themselves out of the mire they created for themselves, creating a monster within that destroys their soul.

When a person invites compassion, love, understanding, and peace into their lives, then joy of life can fill them up...otherwise fear is in control and death follows.

Hard to say. These negative energies are part of humanity. If they suddenly disappeared, it could be argued that we would then no longer be human and therefore makes the question moot.
