The corporation itself, I would imagine, would not do this. However, McDonald's keeps getting involved in charitable causes, so you never really know.

It's more likely the manager would OK it and never keep a record of it, or an employee would sneak the man some food. A customer might even buy the guy some food.

Personally, I'd rather give a homeless person food than money. I don't trust people and I would expect homeless people to use the money for drugs or alcohol. The person could always be trading their food for those things, but I would feel better giving food than nothing or money.

No.

But they might be able to give him a job where he could earn his own money and eat free lunch.

I'm not sure why I got a thumbs down on this one. Giving someone a job is better than giving them just one meal.

One more thing you should know about McDonald's. During the Rodney King Riots, nearly all businesses were destroyed. Except McDonald's. The McDonald's in the area were left untouched.

Why?

Because McDonald's was one of the few companies perceived to give back to the community and not just take.

Also, when there is a natural disaster such as a Tornado or Hurricane, McDonald's are one the first things to get rebuilt and restored. Why? Because once the McDonald's is up and running, they can then begin to distribute Ice and water to the community. Depending on how bad the store is damaged, they try to get it up and running within hours. The trucks full of Ice and Water are sent there as well.

Would they give him one, probably not. In fact they'd probably call the cops on him. Would I give him one, no. It's not fair. Just because he's homeless, doesn't mean he has to eat a crappy meal like that.

No because then everyone would suddenly become homeless to have free burgers.

um, probably at the ones that aren't in the ghetto.

I would give him one (or pay for one) if i worked at mcdonalds, but i'd make him eat it there, make sure he wasn't trading it for drugs, or something.

he would come back, but hey i don't care. Homeless people rock.

If I was an employee there I would but I highly doubt the corporation would because it would never end with the handouts.

I'm sure most employees would give someone something to eat if they felt the person was really hungry.
