avg-free is the best that I use.. www.grisoft.com make sure you opt to download the free version..

I highly recommend AVAST
I've used it for years and not 2 virus, trojan etc has ever gotten past it!
It protects your Email, Instant Messenger programs, Websites, P2P, Network etc....
it updates itself almost everyday (sometimes even more than once a day) which is VERY important in order to identify and block virus, trojans, etc...

avg...go to downloads dot com .....so easy ....get your adaware and spy ware there too...
