Yes, I have been called for duty several times. I've even served on several juries. It was very interesting -- if you actually pay attention. I don't understand why people try to get out of jury duty. It's not just a right, it's a responsibility. And anyone who would lie to get out of jury duty is committing perjury -- which is a felony.

Yes and I got the SOB convicted. It took a lot of time convincing 10 of the dumbest people I have ever met how to think. After 7 hrs of deliberations the other 11 people finally agreed with me that if the driver spend 12 hours in a bar and had a breathalyser measurement of his blood alcohol content of 0.21 when measured 3 hrs after arrest the drive was operating his vehicle while intoxicated.

Yes, once, in a horrible civil case of a couple who had purchased a gasoline franchise station, and who were suing the Big Oil Company that owned it, who said that the couple did not meet all obligations of their contract, and had the station taken away from them, without a penny in return. The Fat Cat attorneys for the oil company had a limitless budget, and obviously had a lot of information suppressed from the jury. In the end, we had no choice but to find in favor of the oil company, and my heart just bled for the couple...
To this day, I boycott those gas stations. It wouldn't have been a dent in their pockets, just to compensate the couple for the money they originally invested.

Just once. But at the time I was pregnant and I was supposed to show up to the court house a week before my due date. I just had my doctor write me a letter of excuse and I didn't have to go.

Yes for some minor traffic incident. The officer did not show, whole thing was dismissed. It was overly quickly and I could get back to work.
