The Venezuelan president appears to make DELIBERATE comments to rile the world against the greatest country in the world, (that would be the U.S.A. for those of your who are part of the MTV generation), and I for one, can accept the usual pouting and hate speeches from the jealous and religiously imbecilic international figures, but this fat-lipped clown has motivated me to actually mail him or his direct office, and not an embassy branch, a letter on my behalf showing my, uh, disagreement on his pshyco babbling.
Does anyone know a source where I can find an address to his offices? Keep in mind I am not looking for an address to one of his embassies, but one of his own addresses.
And please, for those America haters, this is not a way for me to 'threaten' anyone who practices free speech or venting of their opinions. I'm just a dedicated American Vet who loves his country and wishes to allow those who feel otherwise be aware of this. Heck, Y not help me out with Iran's addy too?!

To understand the "Chávez Incident" you should note democracy's biggest fault: People usually don't KNOW what's best for them.

In the case of Venezuela, more than 80% of the population is very poor and (hence) woefully ignorant. This proportion is of course a majority. Now, what do you think happens when this people have to elect a president?

Truth be told, Chavez is quite a charismatic figure, and all the better IF you share his points of view. Of course most well-educated persons disagree with him. But those are not the majority in Venezuela.

It would be useless to try and contact him. He's surrounded by a horde of adulators (whom have worsened the Chavez incident) and they very certainly will not even consider your whole letter.

Not that he himself would, though. Mr. Chávez is not precisely known for his ability to handle criticism well.

Ah, confident. yet you omit the factor. The center of the anti-Bush refrain is the socialist/communist strikes that are back gaining skill worldwide huge. (have not got self assurance me? basically examine the signs and warning signs of the protestors at maximum of those peace rallies - Communist social gathering of Turkey, Communist social gathering of France, etc.) i think they are extremely joyful by skill of Chavez flow to nationalize centers. Did you examine the different reaction? curiously, something it rather is "mandatory to stay" could desire to be controlled by skill of the government, in accordance to 3. strangely adequate, they do no longer nationalize the nutrition furnish till all different avenues have been mismanaged, because of the fact mass starvation from government mismanagement isn't handy till after the persons have lost the skill to protest. by skill of how, i'm no great fan of Mr. Bush, yet i discover the anti-Bush left to be a good distance scarier than even the forces of Bush. even nevertheless, i'm going to assert, i think of Bush's mismanagement of foreign places affairs is what has brought about the strengthening of the left worldwide huge. I do blame Bush for the skill of Chavez.

I think you just hit the nail on the head. That's what Chavez does and I really think he does it just to get attention. Otherwise, who would ever notice him? He wants to be a rock star...
