I think of him as probably the most brilliant inventor and electrical engineer that ever lived. Unfortunately from the research I've done, he was probably one of the worst businessmen and self promoters ever. Many of the inventions and designs that Edison was given credit for were actually taken from Tesla. It also seems that he had some type of social disorder that may have seriously contributed to this. It's unclear whether this was just social ineptitude due to his passion for his work, or a mild form of a social disorder that went undiagnosed. Either way it's a shame that his brilliant work remains either anonymous or out right stolen by others. But it is clear that without his research and discoveries, many of today's modern conveniences would not have evolved.

A genius and a lunatic. Wildlly eccentric and probably went crazy in his later years. He insisted that he had invented a way to transmit electricity through long distances without wires. He would require something like 20 napkins to eat dinner.
However, he is basically the father of AC current, so however nuts he went, he did some mighty fine work when he was still coherent.
Probably too gifted to stay balanced, like what's his name....Nash the mathematician. Way smarter than most human beings, Mr. Tesla.

He is one of my favourite inventors- if I ever get out of my current nasty situation, I want to try several experiments involving Tesla coils to test some of my own theories. He was considered a"crack pot" genius by a lot of people but, from what I have read and seen, he was onto some really interesting topics in physics which, in my opinion, could help defy gravity, help better forecasts things like earthquakes, and some other things that I refuse to mention so no-one takes advantage of my theories! Unlike Einstein, who proved the theory of Relativity, Tesla was unique in that he experimented with unusual things like electricity, magnetism, and frequencies. One thing that really catches my interest in regards to Tesla- everything and every life form on our planet and the universe has a frequency. This, I believe is a fundamental key to a lot of future discoveries in every science that we know!
