Well, if you're a good kid, you shouldn't.
If they're good parents, you don't!
If they're good parent's that have done their homework, you can't! (even if you try a proxy.)

There are many ways to block websites and quite a few software programs which allow parents to control your web access. The answer to your questions depends on how the websites were blocked .

Windows also has the built in ability to either block or allow access to a limited number of websites.

In the first method a list tells windows which websites to block. All other websites would be allowed. This is a harder method to manage since each website to be blocked needs to be entered on the list.

In the second method only sites on the list would be allowed. This is easier to manage but much more restrictive. If your parents have to allow each site you access then chances are this is the method being used.

Well I have no idea how to unblock a website, but I can recommend an alternative. Heres how to do it:

Open up a command prompt by clicking Start>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt

in your command prompt, type

ping example.com

or anything else you wanna visit. Now you should have a load of info, including delay times and, most importantly, an IP address for the website. Simply type this IP address into the address bar, preceded by http://, and you'll be able to access the page!

For example: http://197.57.189.10 etc.

Too bad your parents think blocking is effective...

Search the Internet for a free 'proxy' server and configure your web browser to use that.

Get a wifi card for your computer and connect to your neighbor's wireless router.

what's the project ? the two stay with it - or flow out - they're keeping you from gaining access to incorrect web pages. the only thank you to unblock the web pages is to have the password your mom and dad have used - which i don't think of they'll demonstrate in the event that they're clever !
