you can try to take Melatonin -it is natural sleep hormone, and you can try to drink milk and stretching (releeses melatonin from muscles)
i have it and even Ambien doesnt help me.

I have insomnia also but when I saw a doctor they just said I "simply don't need as much sleep as most people". Whatever that was supposed to help me with, I haven't figured out yet. I took something I believe called Melatonin or something like that but that's the only thing I've ever had. Honestly, I don't have an ANSWER for you, but I'd love to see what other people say because it really does suck and I want to find a way to sleep instead of being restless all night. Eh, I know I didn't help but just wanted to put that out there.

Well, do you exercise? If you don't you should. Do you drink caffeinated drinks? If you do, only do so in the morning and stop after noon. Are you stressed out? If you are, take a deep breath and realize that you only live once and what you are stressing out about is probably not even anything. But if you just really can't get to sleep, drink a hot toddie. A cup of decaf tea with a shot of whiskey, some honey, some lemon and maybe even stirred with a cinamon stick.
