ok my female and male betta are ready they have done everything except mate.are my bettas actually mating good because my female betta gets next to my male betta and my male betta sort of pulls her in front with his tail and then after he pulls her my female betta just goes away so why does my female betta do that???i dont see when they do like a u shape and the eggs fall.

oh yeah my female betta is smaller than my male betta and is old enough to breed

so
number one
her ovipoister is poking out right?
the white dot thingy?
and you can tell she is full of eggs right?

if you said no to these then go back lol
if yes then this
they are either going to very soon
or if they are first time breeders it might be taken her a few trys
to actually get some eggs out

oh also
she will become a darker color when she is ready
you will be able to tell the difference

My Betta's took 4 days of getting along before they mated! and when they finely did there thing, he squeezed and squeezed nothing came out till like an hour later!!! The female might not be in the right position when he trys so she moves so they can get it right!!

It sounds like they are working up to it. Give them more time.
