The Bible says to flee tempation. For me, that means not putting myself into a situation where I might be tempted. I know it sounds simplistic. For example, if I were an alchoholic (I'm not), I wouldn't go to bars, or hang with people who drank. My personal struggle right now (like Jacob wrestling with the angel) is patience. I don't have much patience with people who are lazy, and I used to be very blunt with them. Now I think about it before I say something. Do I REALLY want to put that (what I want to say sometimes) out in the Universe? Sometimes it's needed, but now I try patience first.

Well I first analyze it, look at it at all different angles, like would it be worth my wild to try it or not, what would happen if I didn't try it, or what would be worse if I did try it...

Sometimes depending on the degree of the subject of the matter I will think on it for a few days...and other times I simply just do it without first thinking it over.

Sometimes I war with myself, should I, shouldn't I. Then at the end, usually but not always, I end up telling myself it's wrong and that is the final decision maker. If it's wrong, it's wrong, no matter how I may try to rationalize it. And sometimes, I do. Like with Limewire. It's wrong, right?

This is too generalized a question. Are you talking about having an extra scoop of ice cream? Or are you talking about raping your nieghbors cat?
