consider not drinking instead.
you are going to have problems.have fun enjoy and drink soda you'll have a better perception of the place where you are and not end up in trouble.
Why young people are so obsessed about drinking? It seems as if you couldn't have fun if you were sober. Having fun and being sober is a lot more fun than waking up the next morning without remembering who you slept with...

You should not influence your young cousin into drinking. Although, I believe you can drink at the age of 18 in Mexico. My sister at the age of 13 got away with it, and boy did she regret it.

if ur either 14,15ish or your taller than the counter you'll get drinks 80-90% of the time. If she's 18 like u said, and at least 5 feet tall she will be fine.

I am Mexican, and the answer is simple, you have to be 18, the legal age here. It is totally silly to say "Mexico!!! any age" or "You have to be tall enough", because here, as in US we have laws, and we would like tourists to respect them as we respect yours when we as tourists visit US.
